Abstract: Durante la seconda guerra mondiale a due ufficiali inglesi, il codardo Brand e il valoroso Leith, viene affidata una pericolosa missione a Bengasi. Durante il ritorno Brand fa di tutto per eliminare l'altro, di cui č anche geloso. Ci riesce, ma non osa appuntarsi al petto la medaglia che gli viene riconosciuta.
