Abstract: Uomini e donne che hanno raggiunto i cent'anni ricordano alcuni momenti delle loro lunghe vite. Il racconto č spesso intriso di sofferenza e di rimpianto, ma non mancano i momenti di gioia e di meraviglia. In questo lungo elenco di centenari una donna canta dolcemente sotto i rami di un albero, altri lavorano o se ne stanno seduti sull'uscio di casa ad aspettare che qualcosa accada. Parlano e ascoltano e quasi nessuno riesce a ricordare la propria vera etŕ.
Men and women who have hit one hundred years old remember moments of their long lives. Their stories are often tinged with pain and regret, as well as moments of joy and wonder. In this long line of hundred year olds, one woman sings sweetly under the branches of a tree, others work or sit outside their homes, waiting for something to happen. They talk and they listen, but none knows how to go back to his or her age.
