Abstract: Questo film si svolge alla periferia di Kabul, dove il paesaggio è disseminato dai detriti di più di 20 anni di guerra e delle distruzioni causate dai bombardamenti. Non è insolito vedere bambini che giocano tra le carcasse degli aerei e dei carri armati che giacciono sul suolo, come uccelli caduti dal cielo. Sono visioni inquietanti perché la presenza di questi giganti metallici è una sorta di simbolo della presenza dei traumi fisici e psicologici causati dalle guerre che hanno caratterizzato la storia dell'Afghanistan per quasi tre decenni.
This film takes place on the outskirts of Kabul, where the landscape is littered with the debris of more than 20 years of war and the destruction caused by bombing. It is not unusual to see children playing among the carcasses of planes and tanks lying on the ground, like birds that have fallen from the sky. These are disturbing visions because the presence of these metal giants is a kind of symbol of the physical and psychological trauma caused by the wars that have characterised Afghanistan's history for almost three decades.
