Abstract: L'intervista con Ba Ayach, il moqqadem del Gnawa di Marrakech, si è svolta in un'atmosfera molto calda. Era alla sua prima intervista e all'inizio era un po' imbarazzato. Ma presto si è rilassato e ha presentato, nel suo stile inimitabile, il simbolismo del gruppo, il ruolo del maâlem, i musicisti e i loro strumenti, così come il goumbri e il qarqabous. Sono state le sue parole a darci l'idea per il titolo.
The interview with Ba Ayach, the moqqadem of the Gnawa in Marrakech, took place in a very warm atmosphere. It was his first interview and he was a bit embarrassed at first. But he soon relaxed and presented, in his inimitable style, the symbolism of the group, the role of the maâlem, the musicians and their instruments, as well as the goumbri and the qarqabous. It was his words that gave us the idea for the title.
