Abstract: Quando si arriva al circo, quello che colpisce sono i colori, lo spettacolo che fa ridere, i tanti bambini biondi e i cavalli che risalgono la strada per arrivare al paese. Molte persone scendono qui, salutano e sorridono, scrivono articoli romantici sui giornali, poi se ne vanno. Ma con il circo bisogna restare, bisogna scivolare dietro il sipario, bisogna restare dopo la fine dello spettacolo per smontare le gradinate con loro. E allora, di notte, quando c'è il tempo per ascoltare e per raccontare, t'accorgi che sono loro ad appiccicare le stelle nel cielo.
When you get to the circus, what strikes you are the colors, the show that makes you laugh, the many blond children and horses that come up the road to the village. Many people come down here, say hello and smile, write romantic articles for the newspapers and leave. But with the circus you have to stay, you have to slip behind the curtain, you have to stay after the show and take down the steps with them. And then at night, when there is time to listen and to tell, you realize that they are the ones who stick the stars in the sky.
