Abstract: Ricostruzione del viaggio in bicicletta che Vera faceva da bambina - negli anni cinquanta - quando andava a trovare suo padre in prigione. Lungo la strada cominciano ad apparire i fantasmi del passato, quello governato dal primo presidente operaio cecoslovacco Klement Gottwald. Il film mette in dialogo immagini digitali e cinegiornali d'archivio. Il documentario è uno dei sette episodi che formano la serie sulle figlie dei prigionieri politici Children of Stalinism.
Reconstruction of the bicycle trip Vera made as a child - in the 1950s - when she visited her father in prison. Along the way, the ghosts of the past begin to appear, the past ruled by the first Czechoslovakian workers' president Klement Gottwald. The film brings together digital images and archive newsreels. The documentary is one of seven episodes that form the series on the daughters of political prisoners 'Children of Stalinism'.
