Abstract: Keli ha undici anni ed è gravemente autistico - sua madre non sa se capisce l'islandese, per non parlare di altre lingue. Anche se Margret ha aspettative caute nei confronti del figlio, ha grande interesse sull'autismo e sui molti misteri non ancora risolti rispetto a questa malattia, per questo incontra altre famiglie toccate dall'autismo, scienziati e terapeuti, tutti accomunati dallo stesso obiettivo: abbattere il muro tra i bambini e il mondo circostante. Il viaggio si prospetta più lungo e più drammatico di quanto avesse immaginato ma la donna intravede un barlume di speranza che suo figlio possa essere aiutato in misura maggiore di quanto si potesse immaginare.
Keli is eleven years old and severely autistic - his mother does not know if he understands Icelandic, let alone other languages. Although Margret has cautious expectations of her son, she has a great interest in autism and the many mysteries still unresolved about this disease, so she meets other families affected by autism, scientists and therapists, all sharing the same goal: to break down the wall between children and the world around them. The journey promises to be longer and more dramatic than she had imagined, but she sees a glimmer of hope that her son can be helped to a greater extent than she had imagined.
