Abstract: Costa da morte č una regione della Galizia, in Spagna, considerata ai tempi dellImpero romano il luogo dove il mondo aveva fine. Č uno spazio in cui la terra, il cielo, la roccia dominano il paesaggio. Il territorio e i suoi abitanti sembrano immersi in una sorta di eternitā dove la vita č inscindibilmente legata al luogo. Come filmare questo ambiente e i suoi abitanti? Come filmare questa vita? Il film lavora su questi interrogativi, costruendo, inquadratura dopo inquadratura, un ritratto in movimento di corpi e territorio riuscendo a costruire splendidi quadri animati, brulicanti di vita e di tempo.
Costa da morte is a Galician region in Spain and, during the Roman Empire, was considered as the place where the world ends. It is a location in which the earth, the sky and the rocks dominate the landscape. Its inhabitants seem immersed in a sort of eternity in which life is directly bound to the place. How to film this environment and its inhabitants? How to film this life? the film works on those question by making, take after take, an animated portrait of time and space, of bodies and territory being able to create animated portraits, full of life and time.
