Abstract: Si può sfuggire al proprio destino? Toto impara a ballare l'hip-hop e a leggere e scrivere mentre sua madre sta in carcere. Ana e Andrea, le sue sorelle maggiori, cercano nella vita una sostanza che non assomigli a quella che, intorno a loro, tutti si iniettano in vena. Un altro mondo è possibile, se sei nato dalla parte di chi ha la possibilità di fare delle scelte. Toto e le sue sorelle ci ricordano che un altro mondo a volte è necessario e che è bellissimo provarci.
Can you escape your destiny? Toto learns to dance hip hop and to read and write while his mother is in jail. Ana and Andrea, his elder sisters, are looking for some substance different from the one everybody is injecting in their veins in this, their milieu. A different world is possible if you are born on the side of those who can afford choices. Toto and his sisters remind us that another world is at times necessary. Even trying is beautiful.
