Abstract: Lungo il fiume Gange fervono i preparativi per la fiera di Sonepur. Uomini baffuti dibattono sulla velocità dei propri cavalli; giovani mingherlini montano palchi e gabbie mentre altri curano le loro moto acrobatiche e le danzatrici si truccano e si esercitano, con costumi colorati. Intorno, il febbrile formicolio delle folle. Un film dal ritmo e la forma di un'estasi: i volti illuminati dall'eccitamento e i corpi mossi dalla frenesia dell'ebbrezza.
Along the Ganges river they are getting ready for the Sonepur Fair. Men with mustaches debate on the speed of their horses; young skinny kids build stages and cages while others take care of their acrobatic bikes; dancers wear makeup and exercise, with colorful costumes. All around: the feverish tingling of the crowds. A film with the pace and the shape of ecstasy: faces illuminated by the excitement, and bodies moved by the frenzy of the euphoria.
