Abstract: Dell’Afghanistan conosciamo poco: alcuni cliché, la parola talebani, una guerra mai cessata dall’epoca sovietica che sembra aver preso un nuovo corso dal 2001; un paese devastato in uno stato di conflitto permanente e una popolazione profondamente segnata. Con la sua camera, Sepideh Farsi punta a raggiungere il cuore di questo paese, costruendo un mosaico sensibile, soggettivo e privo di giudizio.
Afghanistan is very little known: a few commonplaces, the word Taliban, a war that has never stopped since the Soviet era, but seems to have taken a new course from 2001. We know that the country is devastated by a permanent state of war and its population is in great distress. With her camera, Sepideh Farsi aims at the heart of this country, piecing together a sensitive, subjective, and non-judgmental mosaic.
