Abstract: Negli ultimi dieci anni, l'artista e coreografa La Ribot ha lavorato a pezzi distinti: "13 Piezas Distinguidas", poi "Mas Distinguidas", e infine "Still Distinguished" che hanno girato tutto il mondo. "Panoramix", il culmine di queste tre serie, può essere inteso come una meta-performance che ricicla, riorganizza e ridistribuisce i 34 'pezzi distinti'. Durante il 2003 "Panoramix"è stato eseguito come parte del Live Culture alla Tate Modern di Londra; al Palacio de Velazquez - Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia - di Madrid; al La Batie Festival al Centre d'Art Contemporain di Ginevra; a Le Quartz di Brest; al Centre Pompidou di Parigi. Girato a Londra e Madrid, il documentario “La Ribot distinguida” diretto da Luc Peter è un ritratto intimo di questa artista contemporanea e una presentazione dei suoi pezzi distinti.
For the past ten years, the artist and choreographer La Ribot has worked on her distinguished pieces: "13 Piezas Distinguidas", then "Mas Distinguidas", and eventually "Still Distinguished" which have toured all over the world. "Panoramix", the culmination of these three series, may be understood as a meta-performance that recycles, reorganises and redistributes the 34 'distinguished pieces'. During 2003 "Panoramix" was performed as part of Live Culture at the Tate Modern in London; at Palacio de Velazquez -Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia- in Madrid; La Batie Festival at Centre d'Art Contemporain in Geneva; at Le Quartz in Brest; at Centre Pompidou in Paris. Filmed in London and Madrid, the documentary “La Ribot distinguida” directed by Luc Peter is an intimate portrait of this contemporary artist as well as a presentation of her distinguished pieces.
