Abstract: Women as Booty documenta il destino delle donne che furono rapite e abusate dalla Wehrmacht tedesca durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Tra loro c'erano molte donne dei paesi occupati, cosė come ragazze e donne ebree. Il film illustra il sistema di reclutamento di massa, ma attira anche l'attenzione sulla discriminazione che queste donne hanno affrontato nei loro Paesi, dove non sono state mai riabilitate.
Women as Booty documents the fate of women that were abducted and abused by the German Wehrmacht during World War II. Among them were many women from occupied countries, as well as Jewish girls and women. The film illustrates the system of mass recruitment, but also draws attention to the discrimination these women have faced in their own countries, where they never were rehabilitated.
