Abstract: Come è possibile creare oggi in un paese, la Cambogia, dove la cultura è stata sradicata per due generazioni? Nel tentativo di rispondere a questa domanda, Rithy Panh segue un gruppo di cinque artisti alla ricerca di una forma di espressione e di un teatro. Tutti loro sono appassionati di ciò che fanno, mutilati dalla storia, perennemente e inesorabilmente rimandati al dolore del passato, e alla ricerca della memoria.
How is it possible to create today in a country, Cambodia, where culture has been eradicated for two generations? In an attempt to answer this question, Rithy Panh follows a group of five artists searching for a form of expression and a theatre. All of them are passionate about what they do, mutilated by history, perpetually and inexorably referred back to the pain of the past, and searching for memory.
