Abstract: “Countdown” č un film sul regista di cinema e teatro e attore Augustinas Baltrušaitis, caduto nel totale oblio in seguito a specifiche circostanze e al suo destino. Baltrušaitis - che lavorň con Monika Mironaitė, Artiom Inozemcev e il leggendario cineasta Grigorij Kozincev, e realizzň cinque lungometraggi alla Lenfilm - č relegato ai margini della societŕ e vive in una casa di cura dove ha pochissimi contatti con altre persone. “Countdown” č un film sui limiti della memoria, sugli effetti dell'implacabile scorrere del tempo. E sulla speranza piů forte del tempo.
“Countdown” is about the film and theatre director and actor Augustinas Baltrušaitis who fell into complete oblivion due to specific circumstances and his destiny. The man, who worked with Monika Mironaitė and Artiom Inozemcev, created five feature films in Lenfilm, worked with the legendary film director Grigory Kozincev is relegated to ultimate margins of society. This is a film about the limits of memory, about the effects of the implacably flowing time. And hope stronger than time.
