Abstract: Per la prima volta un uomo ha sorvolato l’Everest in deltaplano. La storia, il mito, le leggende dell’antica terra himalayana fanno da sfondo al racconto ed alla tensione che cresce mentre, per Angelo D’Arrigo, si avvicina il giorno della verità. Si dovrà aspettare venti che soffiano oltre i 200 Km orari e repentini cambi di clima per poi scoprire, alla fine, che il tempo potrebbe non bastare per tornare indietro. Angelo porterà con sé due splendide Aquile delle Steppe, una specie ormai estinta in quest’area, come parte di un progetto di reintroduzione. Un documentario sulla preparazione, la tensione e il rischio estremo, con immagini esclusive dell’Everest visto dall’alto.
For the first time a man has flown over Everest with a hang-glider. The history, the myth, the legends of the ancient Himalayan land are the backdrop to the story and the tension that grows as the day of truth approaches for Angelo D'Arrigo. He will have to expect winds blowing over 200 Km per hour and sudden changes of climate to discover, at the end, that time might not be enough to go back. Angelo will bring with him two beautiful Steppe Eagles, a species now extinct in this area, as part of a reintroduction project. A documentary about preparation, tension and extreme risk, with exclusive images of Everest seen from above.
