Abstract: Il documentario presenta i più importanti eventi politici e sociali che si verificarono durante l'amministrazione del governo costituzionale con appoggio popolare, guidato da Juan Bosch, nella Repubblica Dominicana, durante i primi sette mesi dell'anno 1963. Il colpo di stato militare che rovesciò il governo Bosch, la politica estera del presidente degli Stati Uniti John F. Kennedy, e la relazione degli Stati Uniti con i membri dei militari che rovesciarono i regimi in tutta l'America Latina, sono argomenti affrontati dal documentario, realizzato interamente con immagini e suoni originali di quell'epoca.
The documentary presents the most important political and social events that occurred during the administration of the constitutional government with popular backing, headed by Juan Bosch, in the Dominican Republic, during the first seven months of the year 1963. The military coup d´etat that overthrew the Bosch government, the foreign policy of United States President John Kennedy, and relationship of the United States with members of the military who overthrew regimes throughout Latin America, are the topics of this documentary, made entirely with original images and sounds from that era.
