Abstract: Per comprendere il fatto inevitabile della morte, sono solito assistere ai funerali di persone che non conosco. "The Third Day" ritrae un funerale in una piccola chiesa fuori Mosca - un funerale che rivela come la bellezza, e la sensazione di vicinanza all'altro, trascenda la dura realtà della vita quotidiana russa.
