Abstract: In Zimbabwe, Plan International porta avanti il progetto "Memory book", che aiuta le madri sieropositive dei paesi subsahariani a scrivere libri per trasmettere i loro pensieri, esperienze e sentimenti ai bambini che non vedranno mai crescere. In questo modo, gli orfani ricevono un certo sostegno e conforto materno; i libri raccontano loro com'erano le loro madri e cosa provavano per loro prima di morire a causa dell'Aids.
In Zimbabwe, Plan International carries out their "Memory book" project, that assists HIV-positive mothers in sub-saharian countries to write books in order to transmit their thoughts, experiences and feelings to the children they will never see grow up. This way, the orphans get a certain maternal backup and comfort; the books tell them what their mothers were like and what they felt for them before dying as victims of Aids.
