Abstract: Un campo profughi, alcuni attraversamenti di frontiera, una casa circondata da un muro: gli abitanti di Aida, Betlemme, disegnano le mappe dei luoghi che li circondano e raccontano le storie legate a quelle geografie soggettive. Passo dopo passo, disegno dopo disegno, scopriamo il campo profughi e i suoi dintorni, seguiamo i percorsi di alcune persone e i loro tentativi di affrontare lo stato d'assedio in cui vivono. Consideriamolo un omaggio a coloro che riescono a resistere aggirando gli ostacoli, in tempi in cui la possibilità stessa di questa resistenza sembra sul punto di svanire.
A refugee camp, some border crossings, a house surrounded by a wall: inhabitants of Aida, Bethlehem, draw maps of the places around them and tell the stories related to those subjective geographies. Step by step, drawing after drawing, we discover the refugee camp and it’s surroundings, we follow the routes of some persons and their attemps to deal with the state of siege they live under. Let’s call it a tribute to resistance by going around obstacles, in times where the very possibility of that resistance seems to be vanishing.
