Abstract: Due cose non si possono scegliere: i nostri genitori e il nome che ci hanno dato. Non a tutti piace il nome che gli è stato dato, ma è sufficiente cambiare il nostro nome per assumere una nuova identità? Forse i nomi hanno un effetto sulla nostra vita? La regista Sigi Marx-Arditi ha un problema con il suo nome, una sorta di leggera ossessione che la tormenta dai tempi del servizio militare. Inizia un viaggio nelle profondità del suo nome per scoprire perché diamo tanta importanza a come ci chiamiamo e se ci sia una connessione tra il nome di qualcuno e il corso della sua vita e il suo destino. Durante questo viaggio incontra personaggi che hanno cambiato, o vorrebbero cambiare, il loro nome, con l'intento di cambiare e migliorare le loro vite.
Two things we don't choose: our parents, and the name they gave us. Not everyone likes the name they were given, but is it enough to change our name in order to take on a new identity? Maybe names do have an effect on our lives? Filmmaker Sigi Marx-Arditi, has an issue with her first name, a kind of mild obsession that has been bugging her since her army service. She sets out on a journey to the depths of her name in order to find out why we place so much importance on our name, and if there is a connection between someone's name and the course of their life and destiny. During this journey she meets characters that have changed, or would like to change, their names, in order to change and improve their lives.
