Abstract: Nel 2005, l'assassinio di Rafic Hariri ha segnato l'inizio della rivoluzione dei cedri che ha portato alla partenza delle truppe siriane stanziate in Libano dai giorni della guerra civile. Ha portato anche alla creazione di una missione investigativa dell'ONU e, infine, all'installazione di una Corte internazionale di giustizia per giudicare gli assassini di Rafic Hariri. Il film racconta la carriera politica di Rafic Hariri fino alla sua tragica morte e cerca di far emergere le ipotesi più plausibili sulle persone che stanno dietro dietro questo omicidio politico.
In 2005, the assassination of Rafic Hariri marked the beginning of the Cedar Revolution, which led to the departure of Syrian troops stationed in Lebanon since the days of the civil war. It also led to the creation of a UN investigative mission and, eventually, the installation of an International Court of Justice to try Rafic Hariri's killers. The film chronicles Rafic Hariri's political career up to his tragic death and tries to bring out the most plausible hypotheses about the people behind this political murder.
