Abstract: Calais, Francia, 2007. Valentin si sta diplomando e divide il suo tempo tra il liceo, l'ospedale dove sua madre è in cura e il suo impegno con giovani rifugiati provenienti dall'Afghanistan, dall'Iran, dall'Iraq, dall'Africa. Uomini e donne pieni di speranza di raggiungere l'Inghilterra. È un'epoca di scelte. Valentin avanza con gli occhi spalancati in un mondo grande e complesso dove l'inevitabile domanda sul senso della vita gli si presenta ad ogni suo passo.
Calais, France, 2007. Valentin is graduating from secondary school and shares his time between the high school, the hospital where his mother is being cured and his commitment to young refugees. Coming from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Africa, they are filled with their hope to reach England. It is an age of choices. Valentin moves forward his eyes wide open in a big and complex world where the unavoidable question of the meaning of life comes up to him at each of his steps.
