Abstract: Il film segue il viaggio di Imran, giovane musulmano americano che lotta per rilevare il macello halal di suo padre a New York City. Americano di prima generazione, Imran deve confrontarsi con la sua eredità mista e farsi accettare dalla comunità. Nel giorno più sacro dell'anno, Imran deve compiere un sacrificio che lo definirà come musulmano, come americano e come figlio.
The film follows the journey of Imran, a young Muslim-American who struggles to take over his father's halal slaughterhouse in New York City. A first generation American, Imran must confront his mixed heritage and gain acceptance from the community. On the holiest day of the year, Imran must make a sacrifice that will define him as a Muslim, as an American and as a son.
