Abstract: Questa è la storia di una scomparsa. La storia di un uomo che, nell'estate del 2008, è bruciato con la sua casa e la foresta circostante. Diversi ettari sono stati consumati e tra le macerie è stato trovato solo un libro dello scrittore svizzero Robert Walser: "La Promenade". Inizia allora un'indagine che, nel tentativo di ripercorrere le vite intrecciate di un lettore e del suo autore, si scontra con la domanda: come si può non voler apparire senza temere di scomparire? Un film-saggio basato sull'opera e la vita di Robert Walser.
This is the story of a disappearance. The story of a man who, in the summer of 2008, burned down with his house and the surrounding forest. Several hectares were consumed and all that was found in the rubble was a book by the Swiss writer Robert Walser: "La Promenade". An investigation then begins which, in attempting to retrace the intertwined lives of a reader and his author, comes up against the question: how can one not want to appear without fearing to disappear? A film essay based on the work and life of Robert Walser.
