Abstract: A Friburgo o Estavayer-le-Lac in Svizzera, o a Pradines nella Valle della Loira, le religiose vivono in comunitą dedicate alla loro fede. Le madri superiori che dirigono le comunitą devono accettare la responsabilitą per la quale sono state elette dalle altre suore. "Soeurs" raccoglie le testimonianze delle madri superiore che assolvono ai loro incarichi: quali sono i valori che guidano le loro decisioni? Come si sforzano di mantenere un equilibrio armonioso tra realtą materiali, sensibilitą diverse e una vita di fede contemplativa?
In Fribourg or Estavayer-le-Lac in Switzerland, or in Pradines in the Loire Valley, women religious live in communities dedicated to their faith. The mother superiors who lead the communities must accept the responsibility for which they have been elected by the other sisters. "Sisters" collects the testimonies of the Mother Superiors who fulfil their duties: what are the values that guide their decisions? How do they strive to maintain a harmonious balance between material realities, different sensitivities and a contemplative life of faith?
