Abstract: L'artista lettone Gustavs Klucis (1895 - 1938) abbracciò la rivoluzione tecnologica degli inizi del XX secolo e la applicò alla sua arte, diventando un rappresentante del costruttivismo russo. Creò il fotomontaggio e l'immagine pubblica di Lenin, e divenne il più importante artista sovietico. Assassinato durante il regime di Stalin, la sua carriera artistica pone molte domande senza risposta. Latvian artist Gustavs Klucis (1895 - 1938) embraced the technological revolution of the early 20th century and applied it to his art, becoming a representative of Russian Constructivism. He created the photomontage and public image of Lenin, and became the most important Soviet artist. Assassinated during Stalin's regime, his artistic career poses many unanswered questions. This documentary reveals secrets and intimate moments of his dramatic personality: the unequal duel between the Artist and Power.
