Abstract: El Alberto č un villaggio a nord di Cittŕ del Messico. Molti degli abitanti di sesso maschile se ne sono andati a metŕ degli anni '80 a Las Vegas, per lavorare nei cantieri dove costruivano i parchi tematici. Spopolato a causa della migrazione di massa, il villaggio ha approvato una legge che chiede ad ogni uomo nato a El Alberto di espletare un servizio comunitario non retribuito e ha costruito un parco a tema per produrre entrate. L'attrazione principale del parco di El Alberto č la simulazione di attraversamento illegale della frontiera. Le guide e le guardie di frontiera sono interpretate da uomini che fanno parte del servizio comunitario e che mettono in scena il racconto della sofferenza vissuta sulla loro pelle.
El Alberto is a village north of Mexico City. Many of the male inhabitants left in the mid-1980s for Las Vegas, to work on the construction sites where they built theme parks. Depopulated by mass migration, the village passed a law requiring every man born in El Alberto to perform unpaid community service and built a theme park to generate revenue. The main attraction of the El Alberto park is a simulation of illegal border crossings. The guides and border guards are played by men who are part of the community service and who act out the story of their own suffering.
