Abstract: Il tram numero 13 va dappertutto e da nessuna parte, come fosse l'Olandese volante si aggira per le strade di Zagabria. È stato coinvolto nel più grande incidente tramviario della storia della città: ha ucciso il maggior numero di persone e, il fatto è accaduto molte volte, ha deviato dai binari. Ma ancora oggi, questa vecchia macchina soprannominata Genscher (da Hans-Dietrich Genscher, ministro degli Esteri della Germania nel dopoguerra) è un hotel viaggiante e un soggiorno per un'intera Croazia invisibile, rimasta ai margini e che sembra viaggiare verso il deposito di rottami insieme ad essa. L'autrice di questo film è uno dei passeggeri, e il suo amore rende questo film commovente e potente.
Tram number 13 goes everywhere and nowhere, as if it were the Flying Dutchman roaming the streets of Zagreb. It was involved in the biggest tram accident in the city's history: it killed the most people and, as has happened many times, veered off the tracks. But even today, this old machine nicknamed 'Genscher' (after Hans-Dietrich Genscher, Germany's post-war foreign minister) is a travelling hotel and living room for an entire invisible Croatia, which has remained on the margins and seems to be travelling to the scrap heap with it. The author of this film is one of the passengers, and her love makes this film moving and powerful.
