Abstract: Nell'arco di due anni, conclusosi con la Confederations Cup 2009, il film segue i protagonisti di tre generazioni di sudafricani in attesa del più grande evento calcistico del mondo - la FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 -, che per la prima volta si terrà nel continente africano. Xolosile è uno dei tanti giovani calciatori delle townships, con il sogno di giocate da professionista. Nana, un genitore single, ha appena investito molti soldi per aprire un bed & breakfast nella township e sta cercando di attirare i turisti. Bill è proprietario di una riserva di caccia privata di lusso e di un residence. Sia Nana che Bill vedono il turismo come un business redditizio, specialmente nel corso del 2010 - ma le loro rispettive visioni sono tra loro molto diverse. Un film sullo spirito, la passione e il potere del Sudafrica.
Spanning two years, ending with the 2009 Confederations Cup, the film follows the protagonists of three generations of South Africans as they wait for the biggest football event in the world - the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP - to be held on the African continent for the first time. Xolosile is one of many young footballers from the townships with dreams of playing professionally. Nana, a single parent, has just invested a lot of money to open a bed & breakfast in the township and is trying to attract tourists. Bill is the owner of a private luxury hunting lodge and residence. Both Nana and Bill see tourism as a profitable business, especially during 2010 - but their respective visions are very different. A film about the spirit, passion and power of South Africa.
