Come risposta all'esilio e all'occupazione, i giovani palestinesi scelgono approcci come spettacoli teatrali, video, danza e rap.

During the 1980s, filmmakers Stefanie Landgraf and Johannes Gulde made several documentaries in the Middle East about Palestinians living in refugee camps. 30 years later, Johannes Gulde's daughter Yasmin and Hip-Hop artist Enz take a trip to Lebanon and the West Bank, with sequences of old films on their laptops. What do the participants from the past think today about the PLO, Fatah, Hamas and Israel? And what are the hopes and expectations of the young generation? In their extraordinary journey, Yasmin and Enz witness a mirror of contemporary life, focusing on the different points of view of Palestinian youth. The struggle continues but, instead of weapons, it is fought with microphones! And in between the extreme and opposing views of Israeli settlers and peace activists. The two travellers discover the legacy of an intellectual world that remains quite conscious of tradition, but now responds with artistic expressions. As a response to exile and occupation, young Palestinians choose approaches such as theatre, video, dance and rap.
