Abstract: Utilizzando rari materiali d'archivio, il film ripercorre in sintesi la storia del piů antico movimento di guerriglia colombiano: il FARC. Descrive inoltre il dramma di centinaia di famiglie che si riuniscono ogni fine settimana in una stazione radio di Bogotŕ per inviare messaggi ai loro cari tenuti in ostaggio e rivela l'intricata rete di influenze che il FARC ha sviluppato in diversi paesi della regione.
Using rare archive material, the film briefly traces the history of Colombia's oldest guerrilla movement, the FARC. It also depicts the drama of hundreds of families who gather every weekend at a radio station in Bogotá to send messages to their loved ones held hostage, and reveals the intricate network of influences that the FARC has developed in different countries in the region.
