Abstract: Dina ed Ephrayim, una coppia non più giovane, visitano l'appartamento in cui presto si trasferiranno. I coniugi stanno per lasciarsi alle spalle settant'anni di vita a Tel-Aviv e trasferirsi a Gerusalemme. Per il momento si immergono nei piccoli dettagli - scegliere i mobili della cucina, misurare la camera da letto, abbinare il colore della mezuzah a quello degli stipiti della porta. L'attenzione riservata a tali dettagli nasconde il dolore e la tristezza che accompagnano la partenza, le paure e le ansie che derivano dal cambiamento. Ephrayim e Dina, i nonni della regista, non capiscono come le loro vite possano essere interessanti per un film. Se chiediamo alla nonna ci dirà che quella che lei e il nonno condividono non è una "storia d'amore": sono sposati da più di cinquant'anni e fanno tutto insieme. Anche dopo aver mangiato considerano il lavaggio dei piatti una 'missione comune": la nonna lava e il nonno asciuga. Adesso lasciano la città che è stata la loro casa sulle rive del fiume Yarkon, danno addio ad amici e a tutte le loro abitudini. Tuttavia, hanno il coraggio di ricominciare.
Dina and Ephrayim, a couple who are no longer young, visit the flat to which they will soon move. They are about to leave behind seventy years of life in Tel-Aviv and move to Jerusalem. For the time being, they are immersing themselves in the small details - choosing the kitchen furniture, measuring the bedroom, matching the colour of the mezuzah to that of the doorposts. The attention paid to such details hides the pain and sadness that accompanies departure, the fears and anxieties that come with change. Ephrayim and Dina are the director's grandparents and do not understand how their lives can be interesting for a film. If we ask the grandmother she will tell us that what she and her grandfather share is not a "love story": they have been married for more than fifty years and do everything together. Even after eating, they consider washing the dishes a 'common mission': Grandma washes and Grandpa dries. Now they leave the town that has been their home on the banks of the Yarkon River, say goodbye to friends and all their habits. Nevertheless, they have the courage to start again.
