Abstract: Un cliente scorrazza sulla sua vecchia Volvo blu attraverso il quartiere della sua infanzia, da qualche parte nei boschi del sud della Svezia. Ascolta i suoni e la musica del posto. Compone un paesaggio sonoro in 9 movimenti, da Chuck Berry a Handel, dalla fisarmonica locale e il coro della chiesa, al cupo canto della segheria, il lamento delle mucche e il sussurro della falce nell'erba alta dell'estate. Ricorda i bambini che vivono sugli alberi e il vecchio che si è buttato nel fiume.
A homecomer rolls in his old blue Volvo through the parish of his childhood, somewhere in the woods of southern Sweden. He listens to the sounds and the music of the place. It makes up a soundscape in 9 movements, from Chuck Berry to Handel, from the local accordeon and the church choir, to the sombre song of the sawmill, the lament of the cows and the whisper of the scythe in the high grass of summer. And he remembers the children living up in the in the trees and the old man who sank himself in the river.
