Abstract: Ben, giovane camerunense, viene mandato in Germania dalla famiglia per migliorare le proprie condizioni di vita. Diviso tra il desiderio di soddisfare le aspettative della famiglia e le limitate possibilità che la Germania gli offre, Ben si barcamena tra i loschi affari della boxe berlinese, sognando di presentarsi un giorno in famiglia con il titolo di campione del mondo. Il pensiero sulla famiglia lontana ma piena di aspettative nei suoi confronti non gli permette di vivere con serenità mentre il mondo della boxe gli mostra il suo lato oscuro. Cinque anni dopo, Ben ha finalmente la possibilità di tornare in Camerun. Tornato in patria, la visione della sua vita in Germania cambia e si rende conto che alcuni dei valori in cui credeva sono stati alterati per sempre.
Ben, a young Cameroonian, is sent to Germany by his family to improve his living conditions. Torn between the desire to satisfy his family's expectations and the limited possibilities that Germany offers him, Ben struggles with the shady business of Berlin boxing, dreaming of one day presenting himself to his family with the title of world champion. The thought of his distant but expectant family does not allow him to live with peace of mind as the world of boxing shows him its dark side. Five years later, Ben finally has the chance to return to Cameroon. Back home, his view of his life in Germany changes and he realises that some of the values he believed in have been altered forever.
