Edward era nato nella Lettonia imperiale russa, ha attraversato il continente nordamericano ed è diventato famoso per un monumento che cattura l'occhio e l'immaginazione da 70 anni. La tragica storia d'amore della sposa lasciata all'altare commosse anche il rocker Billy Idol, che, dopo una visita al Coral Castle nel 1986, scrisse la sua famosa canzone "Sweet Sixteen". A journey through time and inner space, the image of an eccentric genius and the enchanting landscapes of the far south of the United States are the ingredients of this documentary on Edward Leedskalnin (1887-1951), creator of Coral Castle. Edward was born in Russian Imperial Latvia, crossed the North American continent and became famous for a monument that has captured the eye and imagination for 70 years. The tragic love story of the bride left at the altar also moved rocker Billy Idol, who wrote his famous song 'Sweet Sixteen' after a visit to Coral Castle in 1986. We visit Coral Castle in this atmospheric mix of historical truths and legends.
