Abstract: Un documentario allegro e stimolante che studia la collisione tra due culture. Esamina cosa significa essere un ebreo non praticante nella Danimarca di oggi. Un conflitto è nato tra un ebreo danese (il regista stesso) e la sua compagna, che è atea, dal momento in cui è venuto la mondo il loro bambino. Si trovano alle prese con il seguente dilemma: il loro figlio deve essere circonciso o no? Questa domanda fa partire il regista in una ricerca personale per saperne di più sulla sua identità ebraica.
An upbeat and thought-provoking documentary that studies the collision of two cultures. It examines what it means to be a non-practising Jew in today's Denmark. A conflict has arisen between a Danish Jew (the director himself) and his partner, who is an atheist, from the moment their child is born. They are faced with the following dilemma: should their child be circumcised or not? This question sets the director off on a personal quest to find out more about his Jewish identity.
