Abstract: Il film documenta il lavoro di due giudici istruttori olandesi che lavorano in un dipartimento del tribunale ad accesso riservato. Sono i primi giudici a parlare con i sospettati subito dopo il loro arresto. Mai prima d'ora in Olanda qualcuno aveva avuto il permesso di filmare all'interno di questo dipartimento. Il documentarista Jan Katsma ha seguito due di questi giudici speciali per pių di un anno nello stesso dipartimento in cui lavorava come impiegato. Il risultato č una visione unica di una parte sconosciuta, ma vitale del sistema giudiziario.
The film documents the work of two Dutch investigating judges working in a restricted court department. They are the first judges to talk to suspects immediately after their arrest. Never before in the Netherlands has anyone been allowed to film inside this department. Documentary filmmaker Jan Katsma followed two of these special judges for more than a year in the same department where he worked as a clerk. The result is a unique insight into an unknown but vital part of the justice system.
