Abstract: A 20 anni dal successo ottenuto con "Survival in New York" (1989), Rosa von Praunheim torna nella città in cui ha vissuto il periodo più emozionante della sua vita. Ricordando le proprie esperienze nei selvaggi anni Settanta, quando New York era caratterizzata dalla liberazione sessuale e da individui eccentrici, e ricordando i grandi cambiamenti degli anni Ottanta, quando l'AIDS ha iniziato mietere vittime, Rosa incontra i protagonisti della scena newyorchese e si propone di scoprire cosa ne è stato della "sua" New York.
Twenty years after the success of 'Survival in New York' (1989), Rosa von Praunheim returns to the city where she experienced the most exciting period of her life. Recalling her own experiences in the wild 1970s, when New York was characterised by sexual liberation and eccentric individuals, and recalling the great changes of the 1980s, when AIDS began to claim victims, Rosa meets the protagonists of the New York scene and sets out to discover what has become of "her" New York.
