Abstract: Cosa ci fa un uomo in lederhosen (il costume tipico tirolese) in un sobborgo di Berlino? Herbert sta cercando qualcuno. Qualcuno che ascolti la sua musica e magari canti insieme a lui. La musica tradizionale tedesca è molto spesso disprezzata in Germania. Alcuni la associano alla storia dolorosa del paese, altri pensano che non sia più di moda. Per altri però questa musica soddisfa un desiderio che non può essere trovato altrove. Questo film parla di queste persone.
What is a man in Lederhosen (typical Tyrolean costume) doing in a Berlin suburb? Herbert is looking for someone. Someone who will listen to his music and perhaps sing along with him. Traditional German music is very often despised in Germany. Some associate it with the country's painful history, others think it is no longer fashionable. For others, however, this music fulfils a longing that cannot be found elsewhere. This film is about those people.
