Abstract: Il film segue il processo di creazione musicale durante un progetto collaborativo unico, il World's Sun Songs, che ha riunito diciassette compositori contemporanei da tutto il mondo per incontrarsi in un unico spazio musicale, mediato dal coro giovanile lettone Kamer. Il film indaga il mondo della creazione sonora e cerca di rispondere alla domanda "come si crea la musica?". Nell'impossibilità di spiegare la musica a parole, ci avviciniamo ad essa seguendo alcuni compositori di fama mondiale: Sir John Tavener, Leonid Desyatnikov, Giya Kancheli, Dobrinka Tabakova, John Luther Adams, Ko Matsushita.
The film follows the process of musical creation during a unique collaborative project, World's Sun Songs, which brought together seventeen contemporary composers from around the world to meet in a single musical space, mediated by the Latvian youth choir Kamer. The film investigates the world of sound creation and attempts to answer the question "how is music created?". Since it is impossible to explain music in words, we approach it by following some world-famous composers: Sir John Tavener, Leonid Desyatnikov, Giya Kancheli, Dobrinka Tabakova, John Luther Adams, Ko Matsushita.
