Abstract: In una piccola parrocchia alla periferia di Linz, in Austria, un gruppo di casalinghe ha iniziato a raccogliere beni per i rifugiati della guerra dei Balcani. Nonostante lo scetticismo di alcuni, è stato caricato un intero camion di vestiti, effetti personali, cibo e mobili. Nel corso degli anni successivi, più di 150 camion sono stati inviati nei Balcani. Attraverso questa storia, il film si pone alcune questioni sul concetto di solidarietà e su come questo sentimento accomuni tanti esseri umani.
In a small parish on the outskirts of Linz, Austria, a group of housewives began collecting goods for refugees from the Balkan war. Despite the scepticism of some, a whole truckload of clothes, personal belongings, food and furniture was loaded up. Over the next few years, more than 150 trucks were sent to the Balkans. Through this story, the film raises questions about the concept of solidarity and how this feeling unites so many human beings.
