Abstract: Gli adolescenti Juma e Hishame tentano una fuga estremamente pericolosa verso l'Europa, nascondendosi sotto il telaio di un camion, dove vengono trovati dagli agenti di frontiera. Ahmed, Nura, Achmad e Asha sono riusciti a superare le recinzioni. Dopo l'arrivo in Austria, cercano di metter ordine nelle loro vite e di lottare per i loro diritti ad una gioventł senza problemi. Jawid e Alem hanno gią trascorso un anno e mezzo a Vienna, sperando che le loro richieste di asilo vengano approvate. Il film documenta il trauma della perdita, la nostalgia per le famiglie lontane, la prospettiva di un futuro del tutto incerto, il significato (e il senso) delle leggi, le infinite odissee davanti ai funzionari e alle agenzie governative che gli immigrati devono affrontare.
Teenagers Juma and Hishame attempt an extremely dangerous escape to Europe, hiding under the chassis of a truck, where they are found by border agents. Ahmed, Nura, Achmad and Asha managed to get through the fences. After arriving in Austria, they try to put their lives in order and fight for their rights to a trouble-free youth. Jawid and Alem have already spent a year and a half in Vienna, hoping that their asylum applications will be approved. The film documents the trauma of loss, the nostalgia for distant families, the prospect of a totally uncertain future, the meaning (and sense) of laws, the endless odysseys before government officials and agencies that immigrants have to face.
