Abstract: Bethlehem è un quartiere di Berna (Svizzera) nel quale si sono stabiliti immigrati da oltre 30 paesi. Il fulcro del film è la squadra junior A femminile del FC Bethlehem, composta principalmente da ragazze immigrate tra i 15 e i 16 anni. Il film mostra - oltre al campo di calcio- la loro vita quotidiana, la scuola, la formazione professionale e il tempo libero. Le giovani protagoniste rivelano l'immagine che hanno di se stesse, confessano sogni, preoccupazioni e paure, si interrogano su come trovare la propria strada in un ambiente ancora percepito come estraneo e in cui vengono identificati come straniere.
Bethlehem is a district of Bern (Switzerland) where immigrants from more than 30 countries have settled. The focus of the film is the FC Bethlehem junior A women's team, mainly composed of immigrant girls aged 15 to 16. The film shows - besides the football pitch - their daily life, school, vocational training and leisure time. The young protagonists reveal the image they have of themselves, confess their dreams, worries and fears, and wonder how to find their way in an environment still perceived as foreign and in which they are identified as foreigners.
