Abstract: Documentario sul fenomeno dei 'dasyu' (banditi) 'sundaris' (bellezze) ovvero sui 'banditi belli' di Chambal. Situata nell'India centrale, tra l'Uttar Pradesh e il Madhya Pradesh, Chambal è una regione che corre lungo il fiume Chambal, un affluente del fiume Yamuna. Caratterizzato da grandi distese di burroni e zone fittamente boscose, Chambal ha ospitato per secoli bande di banditi, tra cui la famigerata Phoolan Devi.
Documentary on the phenomenon of the 'dasyu' (bandits) 'sundaris' (beauties) or 'beautiful bandits' of Chambal. Located in central India, between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, Chambal is a region that runs along the Chambal River, a tributary of the Yamuna River. Characterised by large expanses of ravines and densely forested areas, Chambal has been home to bands of bandits, including the notorious Phoolan Devi, for centuries.
