Abstract: Berlino. 2009. Al centro della scuola elementare si erge un muro. Il cortile della scuola è attraversato da un nastro adesivo che separa la parte ovest dalla parte est. Nel primo giorno della loro settimana dedicata a questo progetto, gli alunni tra gli 8 e i 12 anni sono stati divisi in un gruppo tedesco-occidentale e in un gruppo tedesco-orientale, le amicizie più solide sono state appositamente separate, anche all'ora di pranzo non si può parlare con gli amici dell'altro lato. Per gli alunni si tratta di una grande esperienza a partire dalla storia tedesca dal 1961 fino al 1989, per alcuni insegnanti rappresenta un viaggio ai tempi della loro infanzia.
Berlin. 2009. A wall stands in the middle of the primary school. The schoolyard is criss-crossed by a tape separating the west from the east. On the first day of their week-long project, the pupils between the ages of 8 and 12 were divided into a West German group and an East German group, their strongest friendships were purposely separated, even at lunchtime they could not talk to their friends from the other side. For the pupils it was a great experience to learn about German history from 1961 until 1989, for some teachers it was a journey back to their childhood days.
