Abstract: Corto di finzione. Taos, una giovane araba, incontra regolarmente un uomo nel giardino zoologico di Algeri. Le coppie di amanti clandestini sono a disagio di fronte agli sguardi dei passanti e cercano un po' d'intimità al riparo della vegetazione. Un giorno, Taos è in impaziente attesa del suo amante. Per la prima volta si trova sola nel giardino. Prima viene infastidita da una banda di ragazzi, poi viene approcciata da una guardia di sicurezza. Quando Taos tornerà nel giardino, dopo un certo tempo, indossa un hijab. Ad un certo punto le pare di vedere il suo amante insieme ad un'altra donna.
Short fiction. Taos, a young Arab woman, regularly meets a man in the Algiers zoo. The couples of clandestine lovers are uncomfortable with the gaze of passers-by and seek intimacy in the shelter of the vegetation. One day, Taos is impatiently waiting for her lover. For the first time she finds herself alone in the garden. First she is pestered by a gang of boys, then she is approached by a security guard. When Taos returns to the garden after some time, she is wearing a hijab. At one point she seems to see her lover together with another woman.
