Abstract: Nobre e José sono camionisti di servizio su tratte internazionali. Nobre è portoghese e guida il suo camion nei Paesi Bassi. José vive in Estremadura e va in Germania per caricare trattori. I giorni di viaggio diventano una routine basata sull'essere a lungo lontani da casa. Quando sono sulla strada, riflettono sulla distanza dalla famiglia che influenza il loro lavoro e lo rende ancor più pesante delle ore trascorse al volante. Nel frattempo, le famiglie raccontano come vivono questa assenza quotidiana.
Nobre and José are truck drivers on international routes. Nobre is Portuguese and drives his truck in the Netherlands. José lives in Extremadura and goes to Germany to load tractors. Their travelling days become a routine based on being away from home for a long time. When they are on the road, they reflect on the distance from their family, which affects their work and makes it even heavier than the hours spent behind the wheel. Meanwhile, the families tell how they live this daily absence.
