Abstract: Scoprire le origini del successo del cinema coreano che, negli ultimi anni si è imposto all'attenzione nei principali festival internazionali. Cinque interviste a cinque registi noti, per cercare di conoscere l’evoluzione della cinematografica coreana. Le interviste a Park Chan-wook (moderno e alternativo, ha ottenuto un grande oggi), Lee Chang-dong (a cavallo tra la vecchia e la nuova generazione di registi) Park Kwang-Su e Lee Myung-se (registi che hanno dato inizio alla corrente chiamata “New Korean Cinema”). L’ultimo regista intervistato è Im Kwon-taek, il grande maestro. Il cinema coreano tende a descrivere sia la società del passato che, soprattutto, quella di oggi.
