Abstract: Il film racconta la storia di Felix Forsman, un giovane direttore della fotografia finlandese e del suo straordinario incarico segreto nella Germania nazista. Alla fine di giugno 1942, Carl Gustaf Mannerheim, il comandante in capo delle forze di difesa finlandesi, fece a malincuore una visita di ritorno in Germania dopo che Adolf Hitler aveva visitato la Finlandia e si era congratulato con Mannerheim per il suo 75° compleanno. A Felix Forsman fu chiesto di filmare tutto. E cosě fece. The film tells the story of Felix Forsman, a young Finnish cinematographer and his extraordinary secret assignment in Nazi Germany. At the end of June 1942, Carl Gustaf Mannerheim, the commander-in-chief of the Finnish defence forces, reluctantly made a return visit to Germany after Adolf Hitler had visited Finland and congratulated Mannerheim on his 75th birthday. Felix Forsman was asked to film everything. And so he did. Through his lens, Felix observed Adolf Hitler, Hermann Göring and conditions in Berlin, in the UFA studios and in Hitler's wolf's den in the summer of 1942. However, the news reel compiled from this material was banned shortly after its completion and remained so for 65 years. It is now possible to see this exceptional film material shot in those exceptional times.
